(NaturalNews) Autism is a disease characterized by impaired communication and social development, and one in 110 children these days is being diagnosed with autism related problems. Autism is often associated with heavy metals in the body, particularly mercury, which is a toxic metal known to cause brain and neurological damage. Unfortunately, mercury is often injected into infants in vaccines and it’s not uncommon for toddlers to begin exhibiting autism symptoms shortly after being vaccinated. 1. Don’t vaccinate yourself or your children. It should go without saying that toxic metals that are known to cause brain damage don’t belong in the body and it’ll be a bright day when the medical community also recognizes this obvious truth. But, until then consider your sources for your health information very carefully.

2. If you’re forced to vaccinate or it’s already been done, begin eating plenty of organic cilantro each day to help detoxify those heavy metals from the body. Cilantro is well known to remove heavy metals and you’ll probably want to start a hearty cilantro regime for a few weeks after any exposure, in addition to consuming it regularly. Especially for children and infants, cilantro can be juiced with apples or carrots and consumed that way.

3. Get the mercury out of your mouth, particularly if you’re having children. Mercury in your mouth is constantly circulated throughout the body by the blood and it courses through a developing fetus – even before the blood brain barrier is formed. Obviously, never allow a “silver” filling to be put in your child’s mouth and if your dentist still uses them, perhaps you want to reconsider your dentist as well. Consumer choice can speak loudly when lots of people are exercising it.

4. Detoxify your body deeply – especially before becoming pregnant. Creating and providing a clean home for your child in the first nine months of development should be something that’s commonly done, but few parents even think of it. When researchers are regularly finding hundreds of toxic chemicals in the umbilical cord blood of infants, deep detoxification can no longer be overlooked.

5. Avoid processed foods and junk foods while you’re pregnant. Processed and junk foods are packed with chemicals that your developing child doesn’t need exposure to. After they’re born, keep those substances out of their mouths as well. By doing so, you’ll go along way to prevent many different diseases, not just brain dysfunction and disorders.

6. Breastfeed your infant for a year or longer to get their immune system headed in the right direction. If for some reason breastfeeding isn’t an option, be sure to regularly feed your infant coconut oil and liquid probiotics to give them the health and immunity building substances that nature provides in breast milk.

7. Consume red beets regularly to help your body detoxify itself and remove many poisons and chemicals. Mercury is far from the only common, toxic substance that causes brain and neurological problems. And when we’re looking at a problem of this magnitude, it’s important not to pigeonhole either your understanding or your solutions.

Have you ever been told to eat your food slowly? Parents often encourage their children to eat at a moderate rate and chew their food completely. It turns out that this is good advice. Recent research, conducted by three independent groups, suggests that eating slowly actually reduces caloric intake and may help curb the growing problem of obesity.

Fast Eaters Eat More

In 2008, Andrade published a study in the Journal of American Dietetic Association, which shed light on the question of eating quickly. According to Andrade`s research, the rate at which a person eats affects how many calories he ingests.

Two test groups were used in the study. Each group was given a large portion of food and told to eat as much as wanted. However, one group got to use a big spoon and was advised to eat quickly. The other group, however, used a small spoon and was told to eat slowly, taking the time to chew each bite twenty or so times. The result was clear: the slow eating group consumed fewer calories than the fast eating group. Interestingly, Andrade`s research also revealed an interesting fact. It turned out that the slow eaters reported feeling more full after the meal, while the fast eaters reported feeling less full.

Fast Eaters and Obesity

In another study published in the 2008 British Medical Journal by Maruyama et al., it was found that there is a significant link between eating speed and obesity. It turns out that fast eaters are significantly more likely to be overweight or obese. Additionally, those who continue eating until they feel full are also more likely to be overweight. Eating quickly until feeling full is likely the most potent combination for gaining weight.

Fast Eating and Hormones

Perhaps the most intriguing research is this year`s study published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism by Kokkinos et al. This research gives us a better understanding of the underlying physiological effect of eating speed. According to research findings, eating speed affects certain hormone levels in our body, which in turn interact with the hypothalamus to create the feeling of hunger or fullness. The hormones PYY, GLP-1, and Ghrelin all play a role. Kokkinos found that levels of both PYY and GLP-1 are significantly higher in the body when a person eats slowly. These two hormones cause a person to feel full. It was found that Ghrelin levels were higher two hours after eating for those who ate quickly. Ghrelin causes the feeling of hunger. This research supports the previous studies. It seems hormone levels are responsible for the fullness slow eaters feel and the hunger fast eaters feel. What`s interesting is that fast eaters feel both less full after eating more food and hungrier just a couple hours after eating than do slow eaters.

Eating Speed and Dieting

These studies can prove useful resources for those trying to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight. Do you eat quickly? Do you eat until you feel full? If you answered yes to either of these questions, chances are you are overweight. Of course, if you can change your eating habits and begin to eat more slowly, chewing your food 20-30 times before swallowing, then you will likely begin to eat fewer calories. More importantly, you will actually feel full after your meal, and you will go longer before feeling the need to eat again. It could be that modifying eating speed is the best dieting tip anyone could give. So take a hint from these studies and start eating slowly!

1 – Energy

Matter is just solid energy!

We are electric beings and water is require to make our bodies conduct electricity. Electricity is required to run our brain, to send communication from our brain to our nerves, between our organs, to stimulate cell production, to do a whole host of autonomic processes. Things we are usually not even aware of. Without minerals in the water the water will not conduct. That’s why we need a full complement of minerals (micronutrients) from our food. To make the electrolytes. Water also needs to be slightly alkaline in order to provide a buffer so our body and most of all our blood has the ability to stay at a constant 7.35pH.

3 – Toxicity

Heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, pollution all impact our body’s ability to repair and regenerate. We cannot escape from them. Toxins are everywhere. We need to avoid them and remove whatever toxins we have acquired over our lifetime and continue to acquire daily.

4 – Stress

Physical, financial, emotional, nutritional stresses deplete our systems and reduce our ability to repair cellular damage. Stress is actually a unique form of toxicity when it has a negative impact on our bodies. Nutrients are used up as much as 100 times faster when we are stressed. It’s no wonder we get sick when we are stressed. Our immune system is getting used up faster than we can put the nutrients in. That’s what we need to increase our intake of nutrients when we are stressed

5 – Nutrition

Starvation Type A is lack of food macronutrients (proteins, carbohydrates & fats). This is what occurs in the starving African nations. They just don’t get enough calories to move their bodies. This is very rare in western society. Starvation Type B, however is seen in vast quantities in western society. It is caused by a lack of micronutrients (glyconutrients, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, phytonutrients etc) We are eating, overprocessed, denatured or even toxic foods. We get enough calories (the logs) but not enough micronutrients to “start the fire” (the spark and twigs)

Genetics – This is what you are born with. It has been said that you cannot change your genetics. Well that’s just not so. Learn more about “epigenetics” and you will learn that your genes “express” themselves through micronutrients on their surface. Genes are blocked and altered by toxins too. It has recently been shown that many genetic errors CAN be corrected by increasing micronutrient uptake and energy balancing to correct errors in gene expression.

6 – Exercise & Activity

Exercise & activity is good stress.

Without exercise and activity our skeletal and muscular systems break down so we must MOVE every day. Astronauts can lose up to 30% of their bone density in 6 months in outer space, just through reduced exercise.

We must walk at least 5 kilometres EVERY day to pump toxins from our bodies and lift heavy things in order to trigger our cells to rebuild themselves.

7 – Rest & Sleep

We all know what it feels like to miss a night’s sleep. The next day we are lethargic, irritable and lack focus. Sleep deprivation is a form of torture.

Continued lack of rest, poor or interrupted sleep can lead to to system degradation and eventual failure which is synonymous with lack of health and the onset of disease.

All animals require rest and sleep for recovery and repair. An elite athlete cannot just keep exercising. If they did then their bodies would eventually fail.

Good exercise is maximised when you interleave it with periods of rest. Muscles actually require rest between periods of stress to allow them the opportunity to rebuild.
